Little Red Riding Hood – A Tale For Children Of All The Times

30 octubre, 2012

There once was a girl named Little Red Riding Hood who lived very happily in a beautiful house with a large garden. She lived with her mother, who looked around her and also took care of all their relatives and friends abroad. One day her grandmother contracted a strange cold caused by allergies, so Little Red Riding Hood’s mother sent her to go find grandma. As the grandmother lived far away, Little Red Riding Hood’s mother put a red cap on her, so that Little Red Riding Hood will never forget the warmth of home and affection of her mother.

“Daughter, behold, I send you to help your grandmother recover from the disease she has contracted. I give this paper with instructions for you to help her effectively. All you have to do is make sure your granny knows the contents of this paper. You know you have two ways to get to it: one long and one shorter. You can choose either, but I recommend you do not rush ahead. Now, go carefully, but do not fear anything, and always remember I love you with all my heart. ”

Little Red Riding Hood went her way out from the beautiful house to the dock, where she had moored a small boat with two oars. Before arriving at the dock she saw there was open an Internet cafe and decided to enter. Once inside, she held a shared use computer, get connected to the Internet and opened her email account. She looked at the role that mummy had given her, looking for the address of the grandmother. But her mother had left her only the postal mailing address. As the grandmother lived quite far away, Little Red Riding Hood looked for a website called “To-the-China-on-a-boat.com” while at the same time she had an open tab with a video of Daddy Yankee, to avoid boredom. Meanwhile, “wildwolf,” one of her regular contacts, opened a bar in the chat dialogue, and Little Red Riding Hood was chatting with him. After sharing some trivia, Little Red made a research on the map sites, and that’s how she finally managed to find the email address of the grandmother. Then she looked for a cute floral design to attach and sent a nice mail according to the instructions on the role given by her mother.

When Little Red Riding Hood clicked “Send” fell all the systems and local computers stopped working. The store owner had to close immediately and call the technical software.

Across the globe, the grandmother received an email from Red Riding Hood. She was very happy to see the sender and opened the mail. She saw a colorful design of a flower like a hortense. The virtual flower was the design of a digital link, so the grandmother opened it by clicking directly on the hortense and unwittingly opened a pop up window that was redirecting her to a very dubious http address. Then a strange message in the form of headers appeared on the monitor.

“RED FRUITS CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS THAT CAN BE CONFUSED WITH RHINITIS AND COLDS. POLLEN ALLERGY MAY PRODUCE AN ANPHYLACTIC SHOCK AND LEADING TO A FATAL OUTCOME.

UNFORTUNATELY, SEVERAL MAJOR ALLERGENS ARE PRESENT IN NATURE… IN FRUITS, VEGETABLES AND MILK!…

POLLUTION OF AIR IS EVERYBODY’S FAULT, YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM CONFIRMS SO, WEAKENING MINUTE BY MINUTE WITHOUT REMEDY.

SO WE ARE ALL GUILTY BY ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION.

YOU ARE ALSO GUILTY!!!”

Then a cyber trojan was introduced into the operating system of the grandmother, through a malware. So after reading the disturbing message from her granddaughter, immediately the monitor put all in red. In addition to losing the message, she lost all data on drive C. Seeing this, the grandmother was frightened and had a pretty serious decompensation, after which she lost knowledge.

Little Red Riding Hood left the cafe very sad, because at that time she recalled her mother’s advices. Feeling very discouraged she went to the dock. With the little strength she had left, she went to China in her small boat. Thus, rowing and rowing, starving, thirsty, sleepy and totally exhausted, Little Red Riding Hood came to the beautiful village in the south of Shanghai.

Upon arriving, she found that her grandmother had suffered a stroke and was still in a very delicate and reserved state at the old hospital of the village. After the doctor authorized Little Red Riding Hood to enter the room, she came in and spoke to Granny.

“Hi Grandma … It’s me, Red Riding Hood.”

Grandma did not know much what to think… because on her mind she was still looking at that monitor, all dyed red with all those thick pixels dramatically decomposing on the screen. Little Red Riding Hood was saddened to see that her grandmother did not respond to greetings. In spite of this, Little Red continued speaking to her.

“My mother, who is at home, sent me to tell you that she does not have anything against you, but loves you so very much. It is just that she has to stay at home and work in the garden in order to take care of us all. But she asked me to convey this message to you. ”

Then, taking the soaked paper in her bag, she began to read aloud.

“BREATHE DEEP THREE TIMES FOR BREATHING LIFE, BECAUSE I AM IN THE AIR THAT ENCOURAGES YOU.

SMELL THE SCENT OF THE FLOWERS, BECAUSE I AM THERE TOO, AND THUS YOU WILL REMEMBER ME MORE OFTEN.

EAT A FEW ORANGES, TO REMEMBER OUR EVENINGS WE SPENT TOGETHER IN THE GARDEN.

AND SMILE, GRANNY, ALLERGY DOES NOT EXIST.”

The software engineer is still working on the design of new anti-virus systems, more complex and sophisticated.

The “wildwolf” is being sought by the Cybercrime police, but changed his nickname and still is in the address book of Little Red Riding Hood.

Still, the grandmother get better after all, and was able to spend some nice days with her granddaughter.

Little Red Riding Hood’s mother sent her a plane ticket to return home, however, in domestic class.

And so, like walking slowly and slower, this little story is over. For now. After all, is a classic tale of oral tradition from the medieval Europe, and since Charles Perrault and the Grimm brothers told their versions, I tell the mine. A classic is a classic, and probably always will be repeated countless times more.

Have sweet dreams.
